My grandson blossomed in Teacher Kate's preschool program. He transformed from being a shy and frightened child to a confident, eager learner. As a former educator, I am impressed with Kate's patience and compassion for all students. Challenges are dealt with calmly, without judgement, and are based on the best current teaching practices. Plans are made to reinforce every student’s strengths.
Kate thoughtfully encourages each child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. She honors each child's individual and cultural uniqueness. She also cultivates a strong relationship with each child's family, becoming a friend.

Our twin daughters were in Kate’s preschool program for three years. She put together a great program that prepared them very well for kindergarten, both academically and socially. We saw firsthand what a caring and supportive educational environment Kate built, and it was tremendously empowering for the girls. Teacher Kate is an incredible educator and person. She has a natural ability to engage children where they are in their development and bring out the best in them. She helps them become their best selves through creative play, thoughtful socialization with their peers, and lots of nurturing. She leads with her heart and the children can feel her love.
When COVID hit she went above and beyond to stay connected with the children through daily educational videos, letters, and personal attention. It was an important lifeline when everything was cancelled.
Kate is also a wonderful mother, director and friend. I highly recommend her and know she will continue to do great things.

Kate is kind, compassionate, patient and personable, and she goes out of her way to make sure every child knows that they're important. She naturally creates such a special bond with every child. As a parent, I was always comfortable at drop off because I truly knew my children were in good hands and they were always excited to see Teacher Kate.
